Expeditions Maasai Safaris Feted During the Soma Awards Ceremony

Back-to-Back Victory: Expeditions Maasai Safaris Named Kenya’s Most Social Business

It has been an exhilarating experience during this year's SoMA AWARDS 2017 ceremony as Expeditions Maasai Safaris was crowned the Most Social Business in Kenya for the second time in a row.

The fete, Kenya Social Media Awards, has been identifying and honouring individuals and business that are using Social Media and Digital for social good. Expeditions Maasai Safaris was recognized for using Social Media to enable Kenyans to discover and travel magical destinations across Kenya and while on a budget.

Established in 2014 and fully registered and licensed by the government of Kenya, the tours and travel company has been widely popular among Kenyans hunting for holiday spots in Mombasa, Masai Mara, Zanzibar, Thailand, Indonesia, Bangkok among other scenic destinations, and by corporates seeking affordable teambuilding and executive buses for hire.

While accepting the award, Kavit Shah- the group CEO, was quick to hint at the company's direction saying.

Mr. Shah, an avid hiker himself, recently made news when he became the first man in Kenya to propose on top of Mt. Kenya.

Also present was the Group MD, Lawrence Gitonga and the Operations Director, Pancras Karema and the senior hiking consultant, Pritesh Varsani.
