3 Days Salt Lick Safari Lodge train package updated 2023 Itinerary

Day 1 - Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park

You will depart Nairobi in the Morning with a 1st Class train seat heading for Mtito Andei where upon arrival at the train station, you will be picked up by your driver guide and transferred to the lodge. You will then check in and have a rest as you enjoy the lodges’ facilities and later on have your lunch. After lunch, you will have a short rest before departing for your afternoon game drive in the park where you will also get a chance to visit the artifacts museum at Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa. Later on, you will go back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Tsavo West National Park

On this day, you will have your breakfast before going for a game drive. During your game drive, you will have a chance of seeing the big cats of Tsavo and other animals like the elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plants, and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler. Later on go back to the lodge for your lunch and a short rest before going for an afternoon game drive.

Day 3 - Tsavo to Nairobi
