Itinerary from Nairobi/Mombasa

Day 1: Nairobi/Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or home within Nairobi or Mombasa at 6:30 am and embark on an exciting 3-day safari to the Tsavo West National Park.

You will arrive in time for lunch and thereafter enjoy the first evening game drive at the expansive Tsavo West National Park.

You will thereafter return to Voyager Ziwani Tented Camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay

Day 2: Tsavo West National Park full day game drive

Upon having breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive at the Tsavo West National Park.

From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out from the parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation, and rocky ridges, including the Poacher’s Lookout, where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world, and attractions include elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalo, and diverse plant and bird species, including the threatened corncrake and near-threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

You will have the option to have a picnic lunch or return to the lodge for lunch. After a successful and eventful day at the Tsavo West National Park, it is time to return to your safari camp in Tsavo for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 3: Tsavo West National Park to Nairobi/Mombasa

You will rise very early for a morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast.

Check out is at 10 am for your journey back to Nairobi/Mombasa. Along the way, your tour driver will make a stop for you to buy lunch.
