Day-by-Day Itinerary
Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Depart Wilson Airport (Nairobi) on a light aircraft (approx. 45–60 minutes). Land at an airstrip near your lodge/camp. Short drive to your lodge or tented camp. Spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and possibly the big cats. Sundowners overlooking the savannah, followed by dinner under the stars.
Full Day in Maasai Mara
Best time for predator activity and dramatic sunrise photography. Breakfast back at camp. Mid-morning options: Visit a Maasai village for cultural immersion. Relax at camp or enjoy guided nature walks. Explore different areas of the Mara, possibly following wildebeest herds (seasonal). Optional: Hot air balloon safari at dawn ($450). Bush dinner or campfire storytelling.
Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi
Early morning game drive: Final chance to spot elusive species like leopards or rhinos. Breakfast at camp. Return to Wilson Airport, Nairobi. Arrival by midday, leaving the afternoon free for onward travel or relaxation.
