This is a private safari by road to Tsavo West National Park from Mombasa or Nairobi.

Voyager Ziwani is situated on the banks of the Sante River and offers panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Its fully furnished tents include a spacious patio. Guided game walks and night drives are offered.

The tents at Voyager come with wooden floors and a 4-poster bed surrounded by a mosquito net. Each has a modern, private bathroom with a shower and a flush toilet.

Home-cooked meals, including a large selection of vegetarian dishes, are served at the camp’s restaurant. Bush breakfasts and barbecue dinners are also organized. Drinks are available at the bar, which offers views of the dam.

3-Day Tsavo West Safari Package at Voyager Ziwani Tented Camp - Itinerary from Nairobi/Mombasa

Day 1 - Nairobi/Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or home within Nairobi or Mombasa at 6:30 am and embark on an exciting 3-day safari to the Tsavo West National Park.

You will arrive in time for lunch and thereafter enjoy the first evening game drive at the expansive Tsavo West National Park.

You will thereafter return to Voyager Ziwani Tented Camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2 - Tsavo West National Park full day game drive

Upon having breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive at the Tsavo West National Park.

From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation, and rocky ridges including the Poacher’s Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, and diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

You will have the option to have a picnic lunch or return to the lodge for lunch. After a successful and eventful day at the Tsavo West national park, it is time to return to your safari camp in Tsavo for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 3 - Tsavo West National Park to Nairobi/Mombasa

You will rise very early for a morning game drive and return back to the lodge for breakfast.

Checkout is at 10 am for your journey back to Nairobi/Mombasa. Along the way, your tour driver will make a stop for you to buy lunch.
